Island Medical Group, PC,(IMG) was formed by the merger of Mid-Island
Internal Medicine Consultants and Island Internists in 1995. Those two groups
originated in the early 1950s in Bethpage and Plainview. In 1996 members of
Island Medical Group purchased a medical practice and office building in
Massapequa. In October 2009 the Massapequa and Bethpage offices merged and
moved to the present location at 4045 Hempstead Turnpike, Bethpage, NY 11714.
