Dr. Peter Buffa is an internist.  He was raised on Long Island.  He attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and graduated in 1996.  His residency in internal medicine was at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY. After completing his residency in 1999, he joined Island Medical Group where he has been practicing medicine ever since.
