Teresa A. Esposito,  DO, graduated New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992.  She completed a rotating internship at Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, in 1994. From 1993-1994, she participated in a family practice residency at North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove.  She then was the Chief Resident of the family practice residency at North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove.  Following her chief residency, she served on the teaching faculty in the Family Practice Department at North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove.   She next practiced family medicine in private practice on Long Island from 1996 through 2009.  Continuing in the private practice of medicine, Dr. Esposito joined the Plainview office of  Island Medical Group in December 2009.
