Beresford A. Jones, DO. Upon completing his undergraduate degree at Cornell University, he graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. He completed a rotating internship at Massapequa General Hospital, Seaford, New York and followed that with a 3-year internal medicine residency at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Bronx, New York. After practicing for a year in the Bronx, he has been in private practice since 1989 on Long Island. In 2009 he became a partner of and merged his practice with Island Medical Group.
